This pillow is the combination of visco-elastic original memory foam and pressure relief point that ensures absolute comfort to the neck and head.

It sustains the perfect alignment of the neck, shoulder, and head with a spine that allows deep sleep all night. Contour Memory foam pillows are designed in contour shape to perfectly match the neck structure and build a personalized fit.

The contoured memory foam pillow also allows better air circulation which creates a comfy surface to sleep on. The contour design of the pillow is made considering the curvature of the neck for ample support and to ease the pressure. The infused gel contour pillow offers a cooling effect that matches the body temperature and thus, helps in getting rid of the discomfort.

Steps to Sleep Comfortably on a Contour Memory Foam Pillow

Pillow choices differ from person to person, however, a pillow with contour design is highly recommended for ample support as it is flat on one side and curved on the other side. The larger part of the contour pillow is designed to support the neck.

The pillow with a combination of visco-elastic foam and cooling gel technology is highly advised for cervical problems and breathing problems. For complete safety, the pillow must be hypoallergenic, anti-bacterial, and dust mint resistant.

Choose the Right Side

  • For Side Sleepers: Side Sleeper should keep the larger side of the pillow beneath the hollow of their neck. Make sure that the pillow is as near as possible to the top of the shoulder, effortlessly supporting the curve of the neck and providing total comfort and muscular rejuvenation while sleeping.
  • For Back Sleepers: The back sleeper should lay on the Contour Memory Foam Pillow so that the slimmer side of the contour pillow runs in alignment with your head. The larger side of the pillow must run beneath the hollow of the neck when lying down, with the curve of the neck resting in a neutral position on top of this hump.
  • For Stomach Sleepers: Contour Memory Foam Pillow isn’t essentially the most appropriate pillow option for stomach sleepers. Generally, stomach sleepers feel more relaxed by using a slimmer and softer pillow which prevents abnormal curvature of the neck and spine during the night while sleeping. If you do sleep on your stomach, you might need a different kind of pillow.

Position the Pillow Correctly

It is very important that you position the pillow correctly so that it will not make the neck pain situation worse for you. Simply place the pillow where it feels the most comfortable. The pillow should support your neck without pushing your head too far forward or letting it fall too far back.

Lie Down Gently

When you lie down, try to relax your body. The memory foam will start to shape itself around your head and neck. It might feel a little strange at first, but it will start to feel more comfortable as it adjusts to your body.

If your pillow has a cover or a removable layer, make sure it is fitted properly. Sometimes, adjusting the pillow cover can help make the pillow feel just right.

Find Your Perfect Position

If you are someone who tosses and turns a lot, finding a perfect position to sleep can be a daunting task. If you sleep on your back, try to place your head in the lower part of the pillow so that your neck gets support from the contour. If you sleep on your side, make sure your ear is in line with your shoulder, and the pillow should fill the space between your neck and the mattress.

Extra Tips

  • Keep Your Pillow Clean: The biggest mistake we make is not changing the pillowcase on regular intervals. Use a cotton or silk pillowcase to protect your memory foam pillow. Wash the pillowcase regularly following the interactions mentioned on it.
  • Let It Air Out: This is one major problem with memory foam pillows that they smell bad at first. If your memory foam pillow has a strong smell when new, let it air out in a well-ventilated area before using it.
  • Give It Some Time: It might take a few nights to get used to your new pillow. Memory foam adjusts to your body heat and shape, so it might feel different than what you're used to. Give it a bit of time to find the best way to use it.

Using a contour memory foam pillow correctly can help you sleep better and wake up feeling more refreshed. Try out these tips and see how your pillow can help you get a great night’s sleep.
